DAY 1 – MARRAKECH
Upon arrival at the hotel, our tour leader will be waiting for you to check in and give you all the details for time and meeting with the rest of the group. (if arriving on separate flights)
Free time until meeting time for lunch.
Lunch at a local restaurant to start our experience savoring the rich Moroccan food.
In the afternoon, we will enjoy an authentic class of belly dance and will visit the souk of Marrakech.
DAY 2 – MARRAKECH
In the morning we will have a belly dance class with a Moroccan teacher.
At the agreed time, we will meet in the Riad to begin the tour with a guide, to know the corners of the city and we will end enjoying the sunset from the square.
DAY 3 – MARRAKECH – ALTO ATLAS – KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE – PALMERAL DE SKOURA – VALLE DE LAS ROSAS – VALLE DEL DADES
Breakfast at the Riad.
Today we will start our adventure in the south of Morocco. Our first step will be to cross the Moroccan Grand Atlas, a Berber name that means “eye of Heaven”. We will cross mountain Berber villages, where we can see their way of life in the countryside. We will arrive with our 4×4 towards, the port of Tizi-n-Tichka at about 2,260 meters of altitude, which offers wonderful panoramic views over the mountains of the high Atlas. We can make stops along the way to enjoy the refreshing mint tea before continuing the road to Telouet.
We will visit one of the ARGAN oil cooperatives, where we will discover and see live the production process through their women, who perform among the Atlas mountains.
Continue to the south and then turn off on a 6 km track that will take us to one of the most beautiful places in Morocco, the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. There we will have the time that we need to walk through the Kasbah and make impressive photographs. In this spectacular setting, films of such renown as Gladiator, the Jewel of the Nile or Sahara have been filmed.
We continue the route until the arrival to the city known as the Moroccan Hollywood, ¡Ouarzazate !!, place where they have shot countless movies in their film studios such as Asterix, Sahara, Jewel of the Nile. We can visit the film studios and make a guided tour inside (optional), where we can see parts of scenarios and materials used in these cinematographic works.
We will continue our route towards the interior of the city of Ouarzazate, where we can make a panoramic visit of its famous Kasbah Taourit, and its cinema museum.
We continue our adventure to the South, crossing the famous route of the Thousand Kasbahs, where we can marvel at the charm of old Kasbahs that line the road.
We will leave the road to cross the palm grove of skoura, an immense palm grove surrounded by ancient Kasbahs and its village that lives on its crops. There we can visit his famous Kasbah Amridil, of the few Kasbahs that you can see inside.
We will return to the road of the Thousand Kasbahs, to continue towards the famous Valley of Roses, famous for its cultivation of the rose, where they make Cosmetics products. This place fills with people for its traditional celebration of the Rose during the month of May. We will follow the southern route until we reach the reddish Dades Valley.

DAY 4 – VALLE DEL DADES – TODRA’S GIRLS – RISSANI – MERZOUGA – MERZOUGA
After breakfast we will continue our route to the famous Gorges of Todra, a paradise for climbers from all over the world, who come to climb its vertiginous walls, within a beautiful environment of palm trees, local towns and the river that crosses them. Upon arrival, we will meet the famous palm grove of the Todra Valley. We will have free time to walk among their throats, where we can make spectacular photographs of this natural landscape.
We will continue our trip through the palm grove of Tinghir, exit towards Erfoud known as “La Puerta del Desierto”, for being the beginning of adventure routes to the great dunes of Merzouga.
Before arriving in the city of Erfoud, we will pass through the Tinjdad palm grove and the Touroug palm grove.
Our next stop will be the city of Rissani, known for its famous donkey market. Rissani is the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Its location as a crossroads between the north and the south gave the city a certain importance in the earlier times. A former major caravan center, Rissani remains an important commercial center in the region, with a large souk, especially lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. It stands out for its trade in goatskin leather.
We will leave the road, to take the old tracks of the Dakar that will take us towards the Dunes of Merzouga. Once arrived at our destination, transfer to your accommodation, where you will have the rest of the afternoon free, to enjoy this impressive and beautiful place, unique in the world!

DAY 5 – MERZOUGA – KHAMILIA – NOMAD POPULATES AND OASIS – DAKAR PATHS – DUNAS ERG CHEBBI
After breakfast we will enjoy a day in the desert !! We will make a tour through the dunes, passing through many desert towns, one of them is the village of Khamlia, where we will make a stop to enjoy the music of Gnawa. This well-known town like the one of the “negros”, old slaves coming from Mali, that bring from its time of the slavery, its peculiar music, one of the most recognized at present in our country.
We travel the tracks of the Dakar that separate the black desert from the dunes of Merzouga. We will cross oases and nomadic villages that live in haymas, where we will make a stop to contemplate their way of life and have a tea with these Berber nomads always so hospitable.
Return in the afternoon to accommodation to prepare for our next adventure. We will start our camel safari, to the interior of the Erg Chebbi dunes, where we will enjoy one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, dusk in the dunes.
We will arrive at our campsite, where we will spend the night in authentic Berber haymas where we will enjoy a spectacular landscape.
We will spend the night under a blanket of bright stars, where you can enjoy the Berber atmosphere to the sound of their drums and your typical dinner.
Dinner and overnight in Camp in the Dunes of Erg Chebbi.
DAY 6 – DUNAS ERG CHEBBI – GARGANTAS DEL ZIZ – AZROU – IFRANE – FEZ
Today we recommend you get up early to see the sunrise between the dunes, a beautiful scenery that you can not miss. We will have breakfast in the camp and return to the lodging where we can clean up to continue with your trip.
We will continue towards the north, where we will make a panoramic stop to contemplate the Ziz Valley of hundreds of palm trees. This valley crosses the entire Tafilalet region, which joins the Rheris River and extends from the Atlas, crossing the cities of Errachidia to the north until reaching Rissani in the South, where it ends up in the Saharan hammada. During its journey, we find about 50km of palm trees bordering ancient kasbahs, which make it the beauty and authenticity of its landscape.
We will arrive at the city of Errachidia, one of the military cities where we will see its great reservoir. We will pass through the town of Midelt, known for its apple cultivation, where we can contemplate the daily life of the typical villages of southern Morocco.
We will cross the middle atlas, via the Tizi-N-Talghoumlt port where we will cross famous ski slopes.
The next stop will be to visit the friendly macaques, which live in the cedar forest of Azrou.
Before reaching Fez, the cultural capital of Morocco, we will pass through Ifrane (called the Moroccan Switzerland), where we can make a brief stop to visit the sculpture of the famous lion, which they say was the last one that lived in the Ifrane area.
Late in the afternoon, arrival in Fez and transfer to the reserved riad.

DAY 7 – FEZ
In the morning we will do a belly dance class with a Moroccan teacher.
At the agreed time, I meet at the Riad to begin the tour with a Spanish speaking guide, to get to know the corners of the city.
DAY 8 – FEZ
Free time until the scheduled departure time to the airport. (depending on the flights of each one)

Spanish nationality travelers will need to travel with valid passport with a minimum of 3 months.

No vaccine is mandatory, although tuberculosis is recommended.

The average temperature in February is 13 degrees. Although during the day, we can have pleasant temperatures and be in short sleeves, at night refreshes. Remember that although we expect temperatures more pleasant than in Spain for this time of year, there is also winter, and you will need a jacket.
The national currency is the Dirham. There are no restrictions on the entry of foreign currency, but must be declared. It is advisable to keep the change receipts to avoid difficulties at the time of departure.
In some hotels and restaurants, the payment is accepted with euros, but normally it is not recommended because they apply a very bad change for us. This does not happen if you pay by card. But we recommend that you check with your bank the commissions that apply to use your cards abroad.
The official language is Arabic, although by its history, they also speak French and in a lower percentage Spanish.
In principle the same voltage is used as in Spain and the plugs are similar, so you will not need an adapter.
In large cities like Marrakech, attention must be paid to theft caused by carelessness or jerking. So, as in any other place, it is recommended to store the belongings in a safe place and not leave them unattended.
It is convenient to avoid military zones (not programmed in our itinerary), but in case of encountering any, it is important to emphasize that it is forbidden to take photographs.
It is advisable to dress discreetly and without drawing much attention. We also advise that you always carry a scarf or pashmina, because sometimes, especially women, we have to cover our heads to enter a sacred place.
It is normal to leave a tip, although usually not more than 10%.
Belly dance classes are usually made barefoot. If you’re not comfortable, you can do the class in jazz, ballet or socks.
