Jordan is known to be one of the most modern countries, with greater political stability and progress in the Middle East, however, due to its geographical location, surrounded by Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Palestine and Israel makes people think that It is an unsafe country, but it is not like that. In addition, Jordan has taken comprehensive security measures especially in tourist places.

Tipping is part of the culture, although it is not mandatory and should only be given in case of receiving a good service. Although all tourism workers are paid a fixed salary, tips supplement their income. In hotels and restaurants, it is customary to leave 10% of the bill. The usual for hotel buttons is JD 1 or US $ 1. Visitors should consider giving tips to their guides, drivers, hotel staff and waiters in the restaurants.
