There is a great intercultural richness for the amount of foreign people who choose Barcelona as their city of residence, and this is reflected in the gastronomy, traditions, festivals, culture, and of course also in dance. You can find numerous dance schools where you can practice any discipline.

Accommodation

You will stay in a hotel with a swimming pool,yesss with a pool!. We know that we have a wonderful beach that we will also visit, but you will see  how nice is to take a dip when you come back from the dance classes in the morning with the warmth august weather. Or watching the sunsets before going out to dance, since the hotel pool is on the roof top, and has privileged views of the city.

In addition, the hotel is located in the center of Barcelona, ​​so we will not have to use public transport all the time as we are close to many of the scheduled visits and the places to go dancing at night. There are aslso many bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets if you need something.

 

Dance classes

The classes of Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba will be taken in the morning so that we have the rest of the day free to go and visit the city. They will be held in a local school, and we will combine the three disciplines. Upon your arrival we will give you the schedule of the classes and the program of the week.

 

Gastronomy

We will take you to taste the best cuisine, the one we like to those who live here, so you can enjoy the food as a local. We will show you hidden bars with the best tapas and of course, the best sangria. And if one day you fancy paella, we also know where to take you, or where to try a fideua, another typical food prepared in a similar way to paella, but with noodles instead of rice, and that is also delicious!

 

Visit the city

Every afternoon we have prepared an itinerary for the group, so you do not have to worry about the map and you won’t miss anything.

We will take you to discover the secrets of the Gothic quarter and visit the Cathedral of Barcelona, ​​which has its origins in a paleocirtian basilica dedicated to Santa Cruz in the fifth century.

We will visit the Eixample district of Barcelona, ​​knowing the impressive modernist houses of the architect Antonio Gaudí, the best known and the least. And we will also visit the most emblematic monument of Barcelona, ​​the impressive Sagrada Familia, this Catholic basilica begun in 1882 and still under construction, which is scheduled to be completed in 2026, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of Gaudí’s death.

Another day we will dedicate to walk around Montjuic, this mountain located in the middle of the city that was an important part in the 1992 Olympics and you can still visit the sports palaces that were built for that event. You can also enjoy the panoramic views of the city, the Plaza de España with its Venetian towers, the old bullring “Arenas de Barcelona” and the well-known magic fountain of Montjuic.

We will not fail to walk along the Paseo de Gracia, visit the Plaza Cataluña, and the well-known Ramblas until you reach the port.

We will also take advantage of an afternoon to visit the Park Guell and its impressive views of the city from here, and many more surprises of this impressive city.

 

Excursion to Monsterrat

We have prepared an excursion to the mountain of Montserrat, located 60 km from Barcelona. There we can visit the Royal Basilica where the virgin de la Moreneta is located, a black virgin carved in the 12th century. We will take a day away from the city to enjoy nature in this rocky massif with such a unique shape.

 

Night outs

In addition to enjoying the best moments of Barcelona during the day, at night we will takes you to the best parties to enjoy dancing in Barcelona, ​​it does not matter if you are more salsero, bachatero or kizombero, the Barcelona night has a great offer for all dance lovers,  of any style.

We will choose the best parties scheduled that week, so you can enjoy dancing in Barcelona to the fullest. For salsa lovers, you can find Cuban and Puerto Rican salsa, there are also some parties for those who dance mambo. In Barcelona you can find dance sessions any  day of the week, so you can enjoy the best parties.
